Float therapy is a unique experience, so we understand why our clients may have some question. We hope this page can answer your questions, if not, call in and we would be happy to help!
- Please arrive at least 10 mins early if this is your first time floating with us.
- Please do not any apply any oils, lotions, perfumes, or anything with a strong fragrance prior to your float.
- Please do not smoke cigarettes prior to your float
- Don't shave the day before your float as the salt may irritate your skin.
- Try not to be overly full or hungry as it may be a distraction during your float
Nope. Since you float nude, there’s no need for a swim suit. If you are doing a couples session and prefer to not be nude, then you’ll need to bring one. We provide earplugs, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and anything else you might need. If you have long hair and would like to brush your hair, bring a brush.
Our float is what is considered an "OPEN FLOAT POOL". You are in a completely open room with access to as much or as little light as you want or need and an intercom that is connected to our front desk for any assistance that you may need. If you can get in a bath tub, you can get in the open float.
Nope. With the specific gravity of our float solution, its impossible for a human being to not float. Sleeping is commonplace in the float pool. The worst that could happen is you might get a bit of salt in your eyes, and we have a fresh water squirt bottle in the tank just in case.
Yes! Bring your significant other or a plus one. Our pool is spacious and designed with couples in mind. Just remember, no funny extra curricular activities in the tank that would result in contaminated water and a cleaning fee
Floating is not only safe for pregnant women, but is highly encouraged! Float sessions not only provide you with stress relief and weightlessness, but coupled with the Epsom salt’s anti-inflammatory properties, a float session can really ease the strain on a pregnant body. The quiet, stimulus-free environment is a beautiful opportunity to connect more closely with your baby as well.
3-4 weeks is typically what it takes to allow new tattoos or piercings to heal enough so that the high salt content of the water will not be irritating or damaging to the tattoo.
For guests with recently colored hair or highlights, we recommend not floating until roughly one week after treatment because the salt can strip color. Temporary hair coloring can stain the pool and requires three weeks to stabilize prior to floating. Once the color stops running when you wash and towel it, you are clear to float. If you float too soon after dying your hair and stain our float pool, you will be liable for a cleaning fee.
Sure thing, just bring the proper accoutrements as if you were swimming at a public pool. We recommend using a tampon, a cup, or a disc if that’s your preference. We do provide organic cotton tampons in our bathrooms in case you forget or encounter a surprise
94-96 degrees which is skin receptor neutral. We aim for temperature to be a non-factor. If you run particularly cold, we also have an infrared heating pad in the ceiling to help you stay warm.
- Yes, there are a couple things worth noting, all of which are stipulated in our waivers.
- It goes without saying, but obviously no bodily fluids or excretions in the tanks – no mucus, no spit, no semen, no urine, no feces. Please help us maintain our cleanliness standards. (You may be subject up to a $2,000 cleaning/salt replenishment fee if you fail to oblige)
-We use state of the art filtration and sterilization technology to keep our float solution immaculately clean.
-Our pool is filtering 24/7. We run a thorough filter cycle between sessions that turns the entire body of water over 3-5 times. Whenever the tank is vacant, the water is filtering.
-During filtration, the water passes through a 1 micron filter (a human hair is 70 microns), then gets treated with ozone and UV light to kill anything that might be living in the water. This is considered the most effective filtration method in the float industry and by the Float Tank Association.
-We also add hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to our water daily for additional sanitation.
-This will likely be the cleanest water you have ever been in.

What is the endocanabinoid system?
The endocanabinoid system is a system within our bodies that works like our respiratory system, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, ect. Recent studies have shown that it plays a very important role in keeping our bodies in homeostasis. It involves two main receptors: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are located mainly in the cells of the brain, spinal cord, bones, and our organs. CB2 receptor are located mainly in our organs and bones. When we intake cannabis, the CBD acts as a key to the CB1 and CB2 receptors, turning them on and sending messages to the different parts of our bodies that need maintenance and healing.
What is the difference between CBD isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum?
This really just comes down the different parts of the cannabis plant, and how all of it and some of it can be beneficial. If you think of an orange, we have the whole orange including the peel. All of it has many health benefits to the body. Full Spectrum is like the whole orange. Legally, there can be no mare than 0.3% of THC in Full Spectrum. Don't worry, you can not get high with this low of a dose of THC. Studies are showing more and more that there are just as much benefits with THC as there is to CBD. In fact, they can really compliment each other. Broad spectrum is like the orange with out the peel. No THC, but all of the other benefits that the cannabis plant has to offer. There are other compounds of the plant that are currently under going research that are showing more and more promising, such as CBN and CBG. These are AMAZING to help with focus. CBD isolate is like the vitamin C of the orange. CBD isolate has many benefits, especially when it comes to pain relief.
Are there any risks with taking CBD?
Yes there are. You should always check with your doctor before taking CBD, just like any other supplement. If you are taking other medications CBD has been known to increase the side effects of other drowsiness-causing drugs.
